A new furnace (BP5) began operating in June, to meet the higher demand for beer bottles. The biggest furnace so far, it has a capacity of 435 tons per day, two bottle production lines and state-of-the-art technology.

A glass technical training center is set up at Bangplee and a knowledge management process is initiated.
